Some rocks are full of surprises … and this Montana Agate apparently had a whole collection hiding beneath its rough exterior!
 
Its broad, glossy polished face reveals smoky brown and translucent gray Chalcedony accented by bold black inclusions, scattered markings, and subtle flowing bands. A touch of golden amber adds warmth near the lower edge, while the rough, textured exterior wraps around the specimen like a reminder of its natural beginnings. It's a wonderful combination of polished beauty and rugged character!

We personally cut and partially polished this specimen at jujujems, bringing its hidden details into view while leaving portions of its original exterior intact. We never quite know what we'll discover when we make that first cut … and that's half the fun!
